Fred Voser - Owner
Brief info

Fred Voser started playing hockey at a young age and experienced hockey at the professional level in the Swiss League. After a long playing career, he continued to coach in the Swiss League. In 2003 after coming back to Canada, Fred wanted to make a difference in developing young players but also wanted to add an educational element to their development.

Mr. Voser started one of the first 5 Hockey Academies in Western Canada and was sanctioned by Hockey Canada in 2007 to play regular-season games. Later, IHA became one of the 5 founding members of the CSSHL (Canadian Sports School Hockey League) and has been playing in the league ever since. After starting with one Midget team in 2003, IHA slowly grew and in 2011 added a second Midget team to the program.

In 2016, the next expansion took place and IHA added a U14 team to their program in Canada. Over the last 3 years, IHA has been approached by many people in the US to expand and open an Academy in Florida. It is the Clearwater/Tampa area that is now making that happen.

“Hockey is my passion and I have enjoyed making a difference in a players' development and helping them move onto the next level.
